Game of Life

Conway’s three rules (under-population kills a cell, over-population kills a cell, and exactly three live neighbours births a new one) produce a surprising amount of structure out of almost nothing. The edges of the grid wrap around, so it is really a torus, which means gliders that fly off the right side come back in on the left. Click or drag on the grid to toggle cells, or drop in a classic pattern to start with.
